Andy Perkel, Principal

An Atlanta native, Andrew Perkel has seen the changes in the Atlanta real estate market over the past decades, enhancing his knowledge of the business. Studying biology at Colorado State University, Andy developed an acute interest in wilderness medicine, which quickly led to his first entrepreneurial endeavors: teaching outdoor safety classes, and heading a construction project in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains.

Almost simultaneously, Andy began a second construction project in Atlanta. Realizing the demands of his real estate career were exceeding those of his academic life, he focused his energies on real estate development and began the study of business at Colorado State University.

Andy returned to Atlanta in the spring of 2003 upon the completion of his studies, and shortly thereafter founded The Blue Ridge Investment Group and Camden Commercial Real Estate with Seth Bernstein. Currently, Andy is involved in residential construction, land subdivision, site development, and the acquisition, development and management of commercial investment properties with The Mainland Company.

In his free time, Andy volunteers as a whitewater kayaking and outdoor safety instructor in various programs around the Southeast.
